"I requested a quote for homeowners insurance. And I was told Jorden would return my call. About 2 weeks go by and no call. So I called in and Jorden calls me back with a quote, with gathering any info from me. He then proceeds to ask me about a claim of theft in 2025.
My response was I haven’t had a claim in 10 years. Now i’m wondering what is going on, then he tells me that it’s not affecting my rate because it could be somebody living in one of the nearby residence.
Why would he ask me about a claim that’s not specific to my address and where are they drumming up this information?
Who else insurance has been affected by something similar and is this just the State Farm thing?
I requested to speak to buddy, and he informed me that someone would call me back, but it probably would not be him.
Is this a Florida thing or is this how State farm operates?"

"Absolutely terrible customer service from this State Farm agency.
I understand that time-sensitive paperwork was sent, but what was incredibly frustrating was the lack of clear communication about the real consequences of missing that deadline and the complete lack of helpfulness once the issue came up. A premium nearly doubling is a major issue, and I was left feeling blindsided by how it was handled.
When I spoke with my agent, I was made to feel like there was nothing that could be done and that I was simply out of luck. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told someone would call me back...which never happened.
What really shocked me was how quickly the attitude changed once I mentioned I may need to cancel because the new premium was unaffordable. Instead of trying to retain my business or offer solutions, the response was essentially, “Then you should find new coverage and we can cancel.” That’s not customer service.
Thankfully, I called State Farm’s actual customer service number, and the representative there was a night and day difference...professional, helpful, and immediately identified options that were never mentioned to me by the agency. He even said he didn’t understand why I was told there was nothing that could be done when there were clearly solutions available.
Between the poor communication, lack of follow-up, confusing charges, and dismissive attitude, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Beware and save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere."
